What L.A Nails is and where to find us
L.A Nails is a full-service nail salon in South Bradenton, Florida, located at 4525 14th St W inside Cortez Plaza at the corner of 14th Street West and Cortez Road. We offer manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails, dip powder, gel extensions, nail art, men's services and eyebrow waxing, Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome and parking outside the salon is free.
Cortez Plaza sits at the busiest retail intersection in South Bradenton, which makes us the salon most of the 34207 neighbourhood already drives past. That is how the majority of our regulars started — a walk-in on the way to somewhere else, then a standing appointment with a technician they liked.
We run the full range, from a fifteen-minute polish change to a two-hour sculpted acrylic set with hand-painted art. Clients travel to us from Bayshore Gardens, West Bradenton and as far out as Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota, usually for a specific technician or a specific set.
Living on the Gulf Coast is genuinely hard on nails — salt water, pool chlorine, sand and near-permanent humidity all work against a manicure at once. Files, buffers and toe separators are single-use and go in the bin. Metal implements are cleaned and sterilised between uses. Cuticles are pushed back rather than aggressively cut, filing runs in one direction to prevent peeling, and enhancements are removed by soak-off, never by prying. Most of what people believe about salon damage comes from shortcuts we do not take.

How do you sterilise your tools?

How long does a manicure or pedicure take?
A classic manicure takes 30 to 40 minutes and a spa manicure about an hour. A basic pedicure takes about 40 minutes and a spa pedicure 60 to 75. A gel manicure runs 45 to 60 minutes and an acrylic full set about 90.
Do you serve areas outside South Bradenton?
Yes. Clients travel to us from Bradenton, Bayshore Gardens, West Bradenton, Samoset, Oneco, Whitfield, Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Anna Maria Island. Each of those areas has its own page with routes and drive times.

Do I need to book ahead for acrylics or nail art?
For a manicure, pedicure or polish change, walking in is fine. For a full set, extensions or detailed hand-painted art, call first — those run 90 minutes to two hours and need a technician free for that whole block. Friday afternoons and Saturdays book out first.
