A classic manicure takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes, and a spa manicure with scrub and mask runs closer to an hour. Walk-ins are welcome six days a week, and booking ahead is smart on Fridays and Saturdays.
A manicure is the foundation every other nail service is built on. Get the shaping and cuticle work right and gel lasts longer, acrylic adheres better, dip powder sits flatter. Filing runs one direction across the free edge to avoid micro-tears. We check the line across all ten from eye level, which is where uneven sets come from.
Soak, cuticle work and hangnail cleanup
Warm water softens the eponychium, then cuticles are pushed back rather than cut. Over-cutting live cuticle causes the redness people mistake for infection.
Exfoliation, mask and massage (spa manicure)

Polish type
Regular lacquer, gel polish and a French finish are three different price points. Gel requires curing time and a soak-off at removal; French requires a hand-painted smile line on all ten nails, which adds ten to fifteen minutes of skilled work.
Removal of existing product
If you are arriving with gel, dip or acrylic that needs to come off first, that is separate labour before the manicure even begins. Removal from a set applied elsewhere often takes longer because we work slowly to protect a nail plate we did not prepare.
Repair work
Broken nails, deep ridges, or a badly over-filed plate from a previous salon need to be addressed before polish. Repairs are quoted individually because a single cracked nail and four lifted ones are very different jobs.
Add-ons
Paraffin dip, extended massage, nail art on accent nails, and strengthening treatments are each priced separately. None of them are required, and our technicians will tell you plainly if an add-on will not help your particular nails.

Regular polish gives most people five to seven days and gel two to three weeks; anyone promising more in this climate is selling something. Gloves for dishes, a fresh-water rinse after the pool or the Gulf, and cuticle oil at night decide where in that range you land.

- Files, buffers and toe separators are single-use and disposed of after every client.
- Metal implements are cleaned and sterilised between uses.
- Pedicure basins are drained, scrubbed and disinfected between every client.
- Dip powder is poured into a clean tray per client — never a shared jar.
- Cuticles are pushed back, not aggressively cut. Only dead tissue and hangnails are removed.
- Gel, dip and acrylic are removed by acetone soak-off, never scraped or pried off.

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

What is the difference between a classic and a spa manicure?

Can I bring my own polish?
Yes. Plenty of clients bring a favourite shade or a colour they want to touch up with at home. Just let your technician know at the start so the base and top coat can be matched to it — some brands do not layer well under a different top coat.
Is a manicure safe if my nails are already peeling?
Yes, and it usually helps. We shorten the length slightly, file in one direction to stop new micro-tears, and use a strengthening base coat. What we would not do is apply an enhancement over a badly peeling plate — that traps the damage rather than fixing it.
